IN THE NEWS THIS WEEK ON "GAY USA" WITH ANN AND ANDY: US Supreme Court once again delays announcing their decisions of whether or not to hear a multitude of same-sex marriage cases. A federal judge in Nevada rejects the right of gay couples to marry. California's law banning therapists from trying to "cure" minors of homosexuality is cleared by one federal judge, but another allows three people to keep trying. St. Louis County and Boise, Idaho protect LGBT rights. A transgender teen goes missing in Charlottesville, Virginia. Big lesbian wedding at the West Point chapel. A man who brutally killed his lover in a New York hotel room last year is convicted of second degree murder. Boys caught fighting in an Arizona high school are "punished" by being made to hold hands and taunted with anti-gay slurs. A Republican legislator in Pennsylvania comes out. Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS gets a big boost from the late Fred Ebb of Kander & Ebb fame.

MEMORIAL for Donald Suggs in New York is this Saturday, Dec. 8: Donald was a veteran gay and AIDS activist and former board member of Manhattan Neighborhood Network responsible for bringing "Gay USA" to MNN. A celebration of his life will be held this Saturday, Dec. 8th at 1 PM at St. Mark's on the Bowery, 2nd Avenue at 10th St.
