  • $20 = Puts up 2 Brown-headed Nuthatch nest boxes to give these declining southern birds a cozy place to live.
  • $20 = An hour on the boat to protect coastal birds.
  • $20 = Distributes 50 Spanish-Language Native Plant brochures to Habitat for Humanity neighborhoods.
  • $20 = Enough gas to meet with a landowner to talk about managing their land to help the highly threatened Golden Winged Warbler.
  • $20 = Materials for a Native Plant Presentation to a local garden group to encourage the planting of bird friendly flowers and shrubs.
  • $20 = An hour on the boat to protect waterfowl at the Audubon Sanctuary in Corolla.
  • $20 = Purchases a mist nest to observe and tag Wood Thrush in the Piedmont so we can learn more about how to better protect them.
  • $20 = Warms early morning volunteers with coffee for a full week of counting bird strikes and monitoring migrating birds in one of our Lights Out cities.
  • $20 = Repairs to one of the dozens of Purple Martin and Tree Swallow houses at our Audubon Sanctuary in Corolla.

  • $20 = Pays for 2 t-shirts for our volunteer Beach Bird Stewards who educate beach goers about nesting birds in Wilmington.
  • $20 = Purchases a can of paint to keep up the historic hunt lodge at our Audubon Sanctuary in Corolla.
  • $20 = Distributes 50 Native Plant brochures to the Coast to encourage the planting of bird friendly flowers and shrubs by municipalities.
  • $20 = Fills the motors for the pumps needed to fill the waterfowl impoundments hosting hundreds of ducks at our Audubon Sanctuary in Corolla.
  • Giving Tuesday is a national movement to give back during the holiday season. With all the consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday gives us the opportunity to also spend for good!
